5 Secrets to the Best Sports Picks

Coming up with the best sports picks is more of an art than a science. But there are ways that will ensure you always come up with solid plays. This doesn’t mean your picks will win, it just means you’ve done the necessary research to know that the odds are in your favor, and that you’ve outsmarted the local bookie or sports book. 1. Know Your Strengths

First, you want to look at all the match ups offered by your bookie or sports book for a given sport. How To Reprogram Yourself To Make Money (How Meditation Can Make You Money Cont’d)

Hopefully you’ve read our how meditation can make you money article before starting to read this. The purpose of this article is to teach you how to change your negative thought patterns to positive ones, which in turn, will help make you money. Okay, so let’s get started.

By now, you should already have compiled a written list of the negative thought patterns  continuously looping in your head. Most people will have ten common negative thought patterns that play on repeat. Common ones are, “I’m too poor”, “I have too much debt”, “I was born with bad genes”, “I just don’t have it in me to make a lot of money”, “no one makes money gambling and sports-betting”… these are just some examples of the negative thought patterns we personally held. They prevented us from making the money we deserved. Keep reading to find out how we changed them.

Stop Feeding Negativity With Your Attention
To change your negative thought patterns you have to stop feeding them with your attention. Think of your attention as a fire that fuels your thoughts, it gives them life. Without your attention they DO NOT exist. But here’s the kicker, your attention will always be focused on something. You’ll have to wage war on your negative thoughts and go to extreme lengths for about thirty days before they stop creeping up. In theory, it seems relatively easy to stop giving negative thoughts your attention, but in practice it’s a little more difficult. You’re going to have to start focusing on positive or neutral thoughts to stop giving your attention to the negative ones.

Write Down Negative Thoughts
Start by carrying around a little notepad and a pen with you wherever you go. You’re going to look a little crazy for a while, but eventually even the thought of caring about what others think will be eliminated. Every time you catch yourself giving your attention to a negative thought (whether it’s an image in your head, a verbal message or a combination of both) you’re going to write it down in your notepad (including the thought “this will never work”). Then you’re going to start taking slow, deep, steady breaths, and count each breath until you reach the number twelve. After you do this, start remembering a time when you were laughing hysterically. Try to vividly picture and feel everything you were feeling at the time. Hear what you heard, see what you saw, and focus on that feeling of laughing hysterically. Keep the feeling with you, and move your attention away from the memory. Next, remember a time when you felt really loved (by anyone; your mother, your wife, your kids, etc…) Do the same thing as with the previous memory, feel what you felt, hear what you heard, and see what you saw. Keep your attention on the feeling and mix it with the previous feeling of laughing hysterically. Next, remember a time when you had sex and bring back the feeling of having an orgasm. Do the same thing you did with the other memories, and focus your attention on the feeling. Mix this feeling with the other two. By now, you should feel really, really good. Spread this feeling throughout your body, and focus intently on it. You’ll repeat this process for EVERY negative thought you write down in your notepad (you probably won’t catch every negative thought you focus on at first, but after about a week of doing this, less and less will show up).  Play around with this exercise; add memories of making a lot of money, or anything else that makes you feel good. You’re going to stick to this process for thirty days.

Use Affirmations
Go out and buy yourself a good microphone, or order one online. Buy yourself a good set of earphones or headphones that you can relax comfortably with. Download the free trial of neuroprogrammer. Use the theta and alpha binaural beats, and add affirmations in your own voice to the audio tracks (we’ll have a list of affirmations up real soon). Every morning you’re going to listen to the alpha track you’ve created, and every evening before sleeping you’re going to listen to the theta track. You should also be meditating everyday for at least fifteen minutes. In addition, it helps if you do your meditation before using the neuroprogrammer software.

Eliminate Negativity
Cut out anything with negativity from your life for at least thirty days. This is going to be especially difficult if you’re friends with or even live with someone who is full of negativity. If this is the case simply tell them that you’re not putting up with their negativity for thirty days, and direct them to this article. You’re  also going to be T.V. fasting for a thirty day period, meaning no T.V. at all. You’ll want to create a C.D. or mp3 Tracklist that is full of uplifting music (think Bob Marley, Pink Floyd, or something along those lines, NOT Lil Wayne).

Your Reality Board
Create what we like to call a Reality Board. This is basically just a collage of everything you want in your life. Get some magazines or print out pictures of stuff you really want, then put them all together on a board of some sort. Place the board somewhere you’ll see it as soon as you wake up, over your bed is a good idea.

Create a Bank Account
Finally, a little exercise that we found in Abraham Hicks’ book “Ask and it is Given” is to create a fake bank account and on the first day deposit $1000 and spend it. Each day you’re going to increase the amount of money you receive by $1000. So on the second day it would be $2000, the third day would be $3000, etc…  You have to make this exercise as real as possible, so sit down and write exactly what you’re going to spend the money on and how much each item will cost you. Make sure you spend all the money you get everyday. You should do this exercise for at least one year, and you should make it as creative as possible (meaning you don’t keep buying houses over and over again).

Reprogramming your mind for positivity isn’t meant to be easy, but if you follow these guidelines, your quality of life will increase exponentially in a one month period.  Go ahead and give it a try for one month. Make it your experiment and write down the results once you’re done.

Meditation Mindfulness Can Make You Money

We’ve already told you that meditating every day will help to increase your winnings, but we haven’t really gotten into the specifics of how. Also, we realize that for many people, meditating can be seen as a chore with no real end purpose, or even worse, spiritual garbage. Therefore, we’ve written this article to help explain how meditation can increase your profits, and as a bonus we’re including our secret on how to get the most out of your meditation each and every time.

How Doing Nothing Makes You Money

In our current reality, doing nothing (or non-doing) is seen as a ridiculous waste of time. There’s money to be had, and sitting around watching your thoughts is seen as a perfect way to miss out on making it. We’re here to tell you that this couldn’t be further from the truth. Your thoughts act as a lens through which you perceive reality. In this way, they guide and shape all your decisions and actions, and in turn, either make you money or make you lose money. Therefore, if you want to make a lot of money, learning how to control and alter your thoughts is of vital importance. This is where meditation comes into play. Meditation allows you to step out of your thoughts and watch them as an observer. It enables you to understand your thought processes and patterns of thinking. And it is only once you understand how you think, that you can begin to change what you think.

Right now, you probably don’t believe YOU have the ability to shape and alter the reality you live in. Looking back though, you’ve experienced times where you’d focus on a desire, and all of a sudden it would appear in your life. This used to happen to me all the time. I’d want to see a specific movie on television, and the next day, lo and behold, there it was. Like most people though, I relegated the appearance of these desires to chance. I didn’t yet realize that my thoughts had a direct correlation to the reality in which I lived.

Listen, I’m not asking you to believe that your entire reality is created by your thoughts. But you should know that your thoughts and beliefs play a prime role in shaping your reality. Realizing this allows you to see the value in meditating every day. Meditation will allow you to slowly destroy negative thought patterns and beliefs; beliefs which prevent you from making a lot of money.

Okay… so now that I’ve hyped up meditation, you’re probably scratching your head wondering how in the hell you do it. Here’s how:

The Lowdown on Meditation — The Easy Way
Meditation is all about letting your thoughts flow without trying to stop them. Sit down, focus on your breathing, and watch your thoughts just like you’d watch the clouds go by. It’s that easy. I like to compare it to standing on a busy street, just watching as people pass by. You don’t get attached to any one person, instead, you simply observe. After practicing meditation consistently, you’ll find that the street naturally gets less and less busy (so to speak). Now, if a specific thought persists allow your mind to flow with it.

Don’t worry, I hear your preemptive questions, “bbbbbuutt what about the secret to becoming a pro-meditator overnight?”. Well, luckily for you, we’ve found the magic recipe to becoming an adept meditator. Best of all, it’ll only take you approximately three weeks to become a pro (but you’ll have to immerse yourself in meditation during this time).

The Lowdown on Meditation — The Easier Way

Alright, so here’s our secret to entering deep levels of meditation relatively quickly. Are you ready for it?

To reach the deepest levels of meditation in a short period of time we use audio entrainment devices.  These audio products abound on the internet, and you can choose whichever one you like, so long as you consistently use it for at least three weeks. Personally, we use Hemisync, Holosync, and Immrama.

People might tell you this is cheating, that meditation requires a lot of effort and years of practice. This is bullshit. People who tell you this are scared of change, and they usually have their egos attached to meditation. To reach the deepest levels of meditation you have to be willing to try new methods and techniques until you find one that is right for you.  We’ve found that after using these audio programs for three weeks (in the morning and before going to sleep) we’ve been able to slow down and analyze our thoughts on a regular basis. This means we can now begin to change the thoughts we have to the ones we want to have. This will be the basis for our next article, but for now you should have an idea of what you have to start working on. Here’s what you have to do:

1.    Download or purchase an audio program that claims to help your meditation (we’ve found Hemisync, Holosync, and Immrama Insight are the best). Experiment for yourself until you’ve found one you’re comfortable with.
2.    Start using one of these audio programs both in the morning and before going to sleep. Mark down on a calendar when you began your practice.
3.    Be consistent in your practice for at least three weeks.
4.    Also, take note of how much money your bankroll has increased or decreased by in that three week period.
5.    After three weeks, write down the negative thoughts you most often have
6.    Write down the thoughts you’d like to replace them with

Then all you have to do is wait for our next article, and we’ll get started on changing those thought patterns.

Make Money Playing Poker the Zen Way

Making big money playing poker doesn’t have to be difficult. All it takes is a keen ability to read people, and knowing how and when to play certain hands. Don’t be fooled though; watching poker shows on TV will not provide you with these skills… in fact, it will probably diminish whatever skills you started with. A lot of you requested that we share our poker strategy with you once you saw the amount of money we were winning. As per your request, here’s how we rake in the big bucks playing poker.

Be Water – Versatility

The first thing we do is analyze what type of game we’re playing. We’ll adapt our strategy based on whether or not it’s a tournament, a no-limit texas hold’em game, or a limit texas hold’em game. If it isn’t a tournament, we’ll look for games with medium sized blinds… usually something like 10/20 in no-limit games. People in these games tend to have bigger bankrolls, but aren’t too poker savvy, which means they won’t stop us from taking their cash. Poker takes a lot of practice to get good at (even with our strategy); so we do a lot of our practicing here. It’s free, and most importantly gives us the ability to play against players that aren’t garbage or too good. This is what psychologists call the zone of proximal learning; meaning we’re playing at a level set for optimal learning. We’ll practice for at least half an hour before moving into real-money games.

Spot the Fish and Sharks

So for purposes of this tutorial lets say we’ve decided to play a 10/20 no limit game. We want to pick a poker room that we know has some fish in it, and very few sharks. To figure this out, we’ll join several poker rooms (4-5) and just observe the games for a while. Fish are usually easy to spot; they’ll play a lot of hands, and rarely raise or bluff. A lot of the time you’ll see them check–calling, or simply calling all the way to the river. Generally, their chips will gradually be eaten up because of the way they play. Sharks on the other hand will do a lot of pre-flop raising, and be extra aggressive. However, they’ll also bluff from time to time. If we spot a shark, we’ll most likely leave that poker room.

Clean them out the smart way

Okay, so now that we’ve found the poker room that we’re going to clean out. We’ll purchase the max buy-in. We do this because fish are easily intimidated, and a lot of the time they’ll back out if we make a large enough bet. Starting off with a pocket pair 10/10 and above means we’re raising pre-flop. Never go all-in preflop though unless you’re in a free tournament(we know you can make money this way, but even A/A can lose after the flop, and you’ll have no money left). If there are only a couple of players in the pot after the flop, and we have the high pair, we’ll raise by a little, just enough to try kicking some players out of the pot (this increases our odds to win). If we hit a triple/flush/full house/straight/Quad after the flop we’ll put down a bet totaling 40% or more of the money in the pot, depending of course which hand we have. There’s no way we can tell you what exactly to bet as a lot of the time this comes by instinct. However, we do insist you learn poker odds, which will help in determining what to bet and what not to bet.

Take out the cash while you’re ahead

Finally, make sure you take out cash as you play. For instance, before entering a game, come up with the amount of money you want to win in this particular game. For us, usually once we double our money we’ll withdraw the winnings. This way we’re stopping ourselves from making foolish decisions. Also, you should always set a stop loss; meaning set yourself the maximum amount you’re willing to lose in a game. Once you lose this money (we’re hoping you don’t), leave immediately — no ifs ands or buts.

If you follow these steps and continue practicing you’ll find your money always increasing. Just remember to help others with it.

PROLINE CA EXPOSED – What You NEED To KNOW About PROLINE!

As a Canadian EH, I’ve seen a lot of people dish out their cash on PROLINE.  Everytime I see this I want to smack them upside the head like zen masters do to their students.  In fact, whenever I see a person playing proline I’ll hand them a zen-money business card and disappear into the shadows (I find it adds dramatic effect).

To all those who don’t know what proline is; good for you, you’ve probably saved yourself a lot of money.  It’s an Ontario government sponsored sports betting lottery. The odds they use are generally a lot worse than the odds offered by most sports books. Moreover, the only bets you can place with proline  are 2 or more team parlays (if you’re playing the point spread). This means, you have to play the spread for at least two teams, and both bets have to win for you to get any money back. Most veteran bettors know that parlays are usually known as sucker bets; even 2 team parlays, let alone 3 teamers.  This is because its already been made difficult enough for you to win a single team bet, when you have to win two, you can be sure your chances are slim.

Another problem is the limited choice in bets. Don’t bother looking for extra prop bets or buying points.  Proline only offers the basics; Point Spread, Over/Under, and Moneyline.   You’re stuck with the lines they give you, once again decreasing your chances of making money. Sure some people win money, but in the long run, most people betting on Proline lose.  If you’re currently a Proline bettor you’re much better off switching to online betting. Some people are worried about gambling online because they think its neither legitimate nor secure… I can only tell you otherwise.
